Founded in 1994, Shaarei Orah is a vibrant young Congregation that has grown each year.

In 2001, a 12,000 square foot lot was acquired at 1425 Essex Road and designated as the future site of the synagogue; a larger facility to meet the growing needs of our community.

Culminating a process that began in 2002, we are excited that construction is at last underway. 

The Groundbreaking Ceremony for Shaarei Orah took place on Sunday, November 14th 2010.

Shaarei Orah has moved into the new Synagogue Building on March 25th 2012, and all services are being held in the new building at 1425 Essex Road, at the corner of Essex Road and Ogden Avenue.

The Synagogue mourns the loss of Ovadia Mussaffi, our President of 6 years. We express condolences to his wife, Susan, and his four children.
